Following our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, we are happy to inform you that our hotel participates in the #gopafree cigarette butt recycling program. Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact and raise awareness among our visitors about the importance of recycling a hazardous urban waste such as cigarette butts.
Cigarette butt recycling bins have been placed in front of the hotel entrance as well as in the atrium area for use by guests and hotel staff to further spread the message of cigarette butt recycling. By participating in the #gopafree program, the hotel is certified as a Cigarette Waste Management Hotel.
Cigarette Cycle's #gopafree program includes actions to inform and raise awareness among citizens and through cooperation with the relevant public organizations and businesses, by placing recycling bins with the aim of recycling cigarette butts. Products of filter processing are recycled new materials and products. Specifically, from the ashes, paper and tobacco, compost is obtained, beneficial for floriculture, while the processing of the plastic filter results in the creation of a new industrial plastic material, friendly to the environment.
